'Village Life'

A relaxing coffee in the afternoon sunshine. The street scene of Romiley village in the north of England during the summer of 2021. 
Sun canopies giving shade to chrome chairs and tables that line the street of bars, cafes and shops in this lovely little village. 
Capturing a quiet moment in an otherwise busy, bustling community.
A beautiful blue sky is only broken by a few cumulus clouds in stark contrast to the bright red brick of the shop fronts upper floors.
Reflections, shadows and shade were a joy to paint, I was in my element putting in the detail in the shop fronts. which brings this painting to life in a style of photorealism at it's focal point.
