'Reflections'

Beach huts are an iconic symbol of Britishness, and nowhere has a finer example than these beautiful huts on the Abersoch coastline in Wales. A much sought after commodity in these parts and owned with pride.
The painting captures one of those rare days of summer in a totally calm sea. 'Reflections' was a challenge to paint, but having those colourful vibrant huts, golden sand and blue sky to work with was a pleasure. I would like to think this painting could hang anywhere and warm any heart.
