'Lakeland Sunrise' Oil on panel A2 /16.5"x 23,4"

'Lakeland Sunrise' is a veiw held by two walkers on a warming Cat Bells, one of the most iconic mountains in the Lake District, England.

The early morning sun radiates an orange light during the golden hour, beaming light over the eastern slopes, rewarding the walkers early start. 

Derwent Water reflects the cool sky as the town of Keswick awaits in the shade of the Skiddaw mountain range.

There is nothing better than the feeling of having the entire countryside to yourself, and feeling the privilege of witnessing a new day arrive from a mountain top. 

The oil painting was completed in November 2022 after approximately 55 hours of work. it's size 16.5" x 23.4” / A2 on gesso primed 6mm MDF panel.

The painting is framed in a light oak wood effect and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
