'Good Morning Mam Tor'

The oil painting was completed in February 2024 after approximately 65 hours of work. it's size is 23.4" x 16.5” / A2 on gesso primed 6mm MDF panel.
The painting is priced without frame, but please contact me if framing is required. All my original paintings come with a certificate of authenticity.
 
Set in the beautiful Peak District National Park, this is my take on this iconic view of 'The Great Ridge' looking at a new day in front of Mam Tor. It looks over the villages of Edale in the Vale of Edale to the north and Castleton and Hope on the other side. 
Growing up as a young boy, this is where my parents very often would drive out to on a Sunday and explore the hills with a picnic, so this area is very special to me and to capture such a moment is a perfect tribute to this amazing place.
