'Finding Shade' Oil on panel size A3 /11.7"x 16.5"

'Finding Shade' is an original oil painting on MDF 6mm panel size A3 /11.7"x 16.5" 

Under the shade of a tree, It's the only place to be on a hot sweltering summers day in the Lake District, England. The sheep and goat know best, keeping cool while they clearly had one eye on me as I passed them by heading up onto a mountain top. I just loved the contrasting colours of cool greens and warm greens in this scene, only broken by the woolly whites of fleece. I could imagine reading a book under that tree keeping cool, protected by the guardian like branches of leaves above from the sun, just listening to the birds and distant cows.

The painting is priced unframed at this time. but more than happy to discuss framing if required for an additional fee.  There are no plans for prints for this artwork, so this oil painting will be totally unique.  A certificate of authenticity as an original artwork will be included.
